Marianna Buchwald is a professional tour guide and interpreter giving special Chicago Highlight City tours in German and English and also developing tours in Germany, in America and in Africa.

People were invited to join Marianna Buchwald for a special project in June 2011 and 2012 in Germany. Teachers, actors, artists and dancers were invited to develop a new performance with masks and original music by Almanach to be performed at the Strasse der Kunst, Kreismuseum in Syke, a village near Bremen.The project  in 2011was directed by M.Buchwald with choreography by Olumuyiwa Ojo and produced by FZH Vahrenwald, www.vahrenwaldTV.de,the Kreismuseum Syke and the Scharniertheater Hannover,Germany with culminating performances of the piece "The Transformation Travelers" June 11. at the "Fest der Kulturen" in front of City hall Hannover, June 15. in Hannover, June 19. at the Kreismuseum Syke and June 26. with participants at VHS Syke for a masquerade at 11 am through Syke.
